Installation

Pro Memberships for WooCommerce is installed like any standard WordPress plugin.

Requirements

Before installing Pro Memberships, make sure that:

  • WordPress is installed and working normally
  • WooCommerce is installed
  • you have an administrator account with permission to install plugins

WooCommerce Subscriptions is optional. If it’s active, subscription renewals, pauses and cancellations keep membership access in sync automatically. Without it, Pro Memberships works with plain one-time WooCommerce orders — plans simply run for a fixed term or for life.

Install from a zip file

To install Pro Memberships from a zip file:

  1. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Click Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the pro-memberships-for-woocommerce.zip file.
  4. Click Install Now.
  5. When installation is complete, click Activate Plugin.

After activation

Once the plugin has been activated, a new Pro Memberships menu appears in the WordPress admin sidebar, with Plans, Members and Vouchers screens. This is where you’ll do most of your day-to-day work.

The plugin’s general settings — grant timing, the restricted-content message, and renewal reminders — live alongside the rest of WooCommerce:

  • WooCommerce → Settings → Pro Memberships
  • WooCommerce → Settings → Togethernet Suite → Pro Memberships (if you have multiple Togethernet Suite add-ons active)

Next, see the User Guide to plan and create your first membership plan, in the order it actually needs to happen.
